Learnt so much about the culture and the way of life in Zanzibar. All workshops were really fun and there was a huge range of things to do. It was amazing meeting all the people and snorkelling was fantastic. All the experiences were incredible - I wouldn't change a thing.
The most important experience of the trip was getting the students to see what goes on in international agencies (dispelling some prejudices and inspiring them to get involved globally).
The most important aspect of the trip for me was Global awareness. We are not exposed to a lot of poverty, so it was good to learn about it in another part of the world.
The turtle project was amazing because it helped us connect with nature and get away from technology. They were very careful about what they did to help the environment.
