It was fantastic that it covered so many aspects of the curriculum - this trip also went way beyond what they learn in school.
It truly was a very special trip and one that I know has had a huge impact on the students. The opportunities they had were fantastic and the students made the most of each and every one. The whole team based both in the UK and Nepal have been fantastic in the planning and throughout ... I cannot thank you enough. It was the least stressful trip I have ever been involved in!
I expected to learn a lot and we did. Expected pupils to engage, be inspired, challenged, shaken out of their comfort zones - most were at some point although this trip will probably affect them for the future too in ways yet unknown.
We learnt a huge amount about Religious Studies, sustainable development, migration, geohazards and resource security. All the international agencies have been fantastic. This has been the best school trip we have ever been on.
This trip has changed my son's life. Following his trip he has decided to follow a different career option and he is going to study International Development at Uni as he wants to work in foreign aid-development and make a difference to the world.
I am much more aware of global issues, more confident in my choice of University degree, and feel inspired to make a difference to improve this world.
