Global Action were great - in every way. The organisation was great, the info was comprehensive, they tried to prepare the girls (fitness especially) and the trip leader (Tim) was absolutely fantastic.
It truly was a very special trip and one that I know has had a huge impact on the students. The opportunities they had were fantastic and the students made the most of each and every one. The whole team based both in the UK and Nepal have been fantastic in the planning and throughout ... I cannot thank you enough. It was the least stressful trip I have ever been involved in!
My son had the most incredible adventure. The things you managed to pack into 3 weeks were wonderful. It was a joy to watch him and the others go through the whole process. So increedibly proud of them all, and Global Action gave them the opportunity.
I was really inspired by what I learnt and it made me realise how much work goes into helping people around the world and how a lot still has to be done.
The most important experience of the trip was getting the students to see what goes on in international agencies (dispelling some prejudices and inspiring them to get involved globally).
I expected to learn a lot and we did. Expected pupils to engage, be inspired, challenged, shaken out of their comfort zones - most were at some point although this trip will probably affect them for the future too in ways yet unknown.
