I am much more aware of global issues, more confident in my choice of University degree, and feel inspired to make a difference to improve this world.
We are so happy with how the trip went and know that it has fundamentally affected the girls, with many now wanting to develop their careers in human rights, poverty reduction and development which is fantastic. I think the expedition definitely opened hearts and minds.
The most important aspect of the trip for me was Global awareness. We are not exposed to a lot of poverty, so it was good to learn about it in another part of the world.
The trip was absolutely perfect! Our son came back quite thankful for what he gets at home and showing more empathy towards less fortunate people. I truly am very grateful to Global Action for thier amazing work and wonderful commitment towards younger people.
It was all important but challenging kids about the real-world problems and the complexity of addressing these was the single most important thing.
The trip exceeded my expectations and was much more enjoyable than I thought it would be, whilst still being extremely informative. Eye-opening, very enjoyable, and inspiring further research about the institutions we visited.
