An experience everyone should have at least once in their life, eye opening and exciting. Definitely changed the way I'm going to live my life.
I expected to learn a lot and we did. Expected pupils to engage, be inspired, challenged, shaken out of their comfort zones - most were at some point although this trip will probably affect them for the future too in ways yet unknown.
As I want to study veterinary medicine at university, my experience working with the turtles will help me massively and was great work experience.
5 days in Geneva would be an amazing experience for any 17-18 year old. But this trip was truly amazing - it opened up their eyes to life and what really goes on. My daughter loved every part of the trip, learnt loads, and would love to go and live in Geneva now!
Learnt so much about the culture and the way of life in Zanzibar. All workshops were really fun and there was a huge range of things to do. It was amazing meeting all the people and snorkelling was fantastic. All the experiences were incredible - I wouldn't change a thing.
I am much more aware of global issues, more confident in my choice of University degree, and feel inspired to make a difference to improve this world.
