The Benefits
High Educational Value and Skills Development
- Each trip is designed as part of a Global Learning Programme to give your students an outstanding educational experience, and enhance cross-curricular learning
- Many of the topics you experience in-country are taught within the curriculum – what better way to appreciate the complexities of poverty reduction in Nepal, biodiversity in Costa Rica, or coral reef ecosystems in Zanzibar?
- Students receive the ASDAN Universities Award, highlighted by UCAS for applicants to include in their Personal Statement. This can really help your students stand out from the crowd!
- Students can use our trips for extended essay research, or towards the IB’s Creativity, Action and Service (CAS)
- Our managers facilitate dynamic Global Learning Workshops to help students get the most out of trip learning, and see how their activities interlink with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals

We maximise support to our schools and teachers, to minimise your workload
- For 18 participants booked, Global Action provides 2 free staff places and a fully-qualified UK Global Action Leader to supervise health and safety while you enjoy the activities and visits
- We collect all payments, and invoice parents/students direct
- We provide an all-inclusive package. Yes, this includes return flights!
- We are a fully-bonded UK tour operator, and provide school teams with financial protection through our Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL) Number 10624
- We offer a flexible payment plan, helping every participant to access our programme
- We have a simple booking process and provide full promotional and pre-departure support from our experienced managers, who facilitate all presentations and training workshops
- Your password-protected Global Action Login gives you access to detailed pre-departure information on raising funds, flights, insurance, visas, vaccinations, country advice, kit lists, discounts and more!
- Prior to departure, we run a Leaders’ Workshop, Parents’ Pre-Departure Meeting, and a team Build Up Day where your Global Action Leader will check your kit and run through health and safety briefings.

Tailored Proposal
We'll email you a tailored proposal, which includes a full itinerary, all-inclusive price, and key documents for the Senior Management Team (SMT).

SMT Approval
Once you get approval from the SMT, we send you key marketing material, including posters, to help promote the trip.

School Presentation
We visit your school to deliver inspiring presentations in a short Morning Assembly and a longer Parents’ Presentation 10 days later.
Raising Funds
Raising funds towards the trip cost is a key element of students’ personal development – it gives them a great sense of achievement, both as individuals, and as a team
