‘Many thanks to the team that made this fantastic opportunity possible for our daughter. It has been such a positive experience from start to finish.  She really embraced fundraising for the trip and as a result of this I saw her grow in confidence. We took the stance of starting early, little and often for fundraising and it was exciting for her to see the pot grow. She raised in the region of £2500 herself. The trip itself has exceeded all of our expectations. We are so proud of her, putting her anxieties to one side and embracing all the activities. We are still hearing new stories! Highlights- tree planting, the insects, being off grid, the thunderstorms, helping at the turtle sanctuary buildings that were damaged by fire and of course sliding down the waterfall. It’s also given her an appreciation of other ways of life. As she said to us a few days after her return, there’s no fear in going to university now. Once again many thanks to all involved.’
