Build Up
And we're off!
A meeting with your Global Action Trip Leader at school to check your kit, run through health and safety briefings, and have an introduction to Nepal’s culture.

Days 1-2
Kathmandu
Overnight flight to Kathmandu and a guided tour of the old town markets, temples and shrines.

Days 3-4
NGOs and Monasteries
A combination of exploring ancient UNESCO World Heritage sites, an introduction to Buddhism at a magnificent monastery, and seminars with experts in international agencies working on sustainable livelihoods, climate change and poverty reduction in Nepal.

Days 5-9
Pokhara
Travel west to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside town at the foot of the Annapurna range. Work on a poverty reduction project researched and designed by our in-country partner, hosted by the community who have requested assistance. Visit a charity which supports vulnerable communities in the Gorkha district – the epicentre of the 2015 earthquake.

Days 10-14
Annapurna Trekking
Ascend through the changing landscapes of the Annapurna region - from terraced rice fields, to forests, up into the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range. Learn about the eco-systems and cultural heritage from our experienced guides, while developing your teamwork skills and self-reliance.

Days 15-16
Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu for shopping, a final celebratory meal, and teachings in a tranquil monastery on Buddhism, mindfulness and meditation.
