Keely

Destination Manager

Keely is very passionate about working with young people and introducing them to international development, exploring new cultures and learning opportunities overseas. She has seen the personal growth first-hand of what these learning experiences can do for young people and is a big advocate for equal opportunities for all. Keely has been working in the school expedition industry for 10 years and has experience leading educational trips in Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Ecuador, Cambodia and Borneo.

After Keely finished University, she went backpacking across Latin America, South East Asia and New Zealand. Her love of travel, and interest in international development, grew as she volunteered on projects with local communities in Peru, Costa Rica and Cambodia. Keely has done a lot of independent travel since and has introduced her young children to the joys of travel, including time hiking in the Dolomites. Keely is excited to be part of the Global Action team and show our next generation of global citizens what our wonderful world has to offer, and how we fit into that.

Keely is a big lover of the ocean and enjoys cold water dips, paddle boarding, snorkelling, scuba diving and taking her dog for beach walks. She also enjoys mountains and is always up for a new challenge whether that be running or hiking, most happy outdoors.
