Director of Sales

Tony has been working at the forefront of international development expeditions for young people for over 25 years now. As a trained Expedition Leader he has lead projects to Borneo, Chile, Venezuela, Bolivia, Guyana and Peru. He would say that whilst he loves trekking in the mountains he always feels the pull of the jungle. His first Raleigh International expedition to Borneo was the seed that germinated the desire to work in international development which he has been doing ever since.

Tony has worked with International Schools across the globe, presented workshops at educational conferences, and is a true believer in the positive impact that these international development trips have on the young people that participate. Pushing yourself outside your comfort zone to discover a little more about who you are and what makes you tick, has always been a real joy for Tony when working abroad on expedition.

Tony spent the first 9 years of his career in banking before leaving to become a fully qualified Youth Worker. In between leading expeditions he was the Sales & Marketing Director and co-owner at the outdoor clothing brand Montane for 2 years, before leaving to work full time in the Schools Expedition world where he has worked ever since. Tony is married to Clarissa, with 3 teenage kids and travelling to exciting places has always been how they have spent their holidays together. He loves to cook, as long as it can be made in a Wok, enjoys cycling around the Chilterns and is a season ticket holder at Old Trafford, don’t hold it against him!
