The UCAS 'How to Apply 2013 Guide for Applicants' recommends inclusion of ASDAN awards such as the Universities Award in your Personal Statement.

Global Action is self-assessed compliant to the British Standard 8848. This standard gives specifications to ensure effective operational systems are in place to assess and manage the risks associated with overseas adventures.

We work with Pharos to ensure we have robust risk and incident management systems in place, like our 24/7 support and incident management line which supports Global Action teams while overseas.

Global Action holds the prestigious Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge, specifically designed for overseas expeditions. This nationally recognised badge is designed to bring together all existing safety and quality badges into one easily identifiable mark of high standards. It is only awarded after a rigorous external assessment, giving confidence in the learning provider's competence.

Global Action is a full member of the EPA, a membership organisation for the overseas youth expedition sector, and the awarding body for the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) badge. Global Action regularly participates in this network of industry professionals that consult on a wide range of issues in the field. As members we agree to abide by the EPA Code of Practice.
