We have had our son home for a week now. It is wonderful to see him so animated and so very thrilled with the entirety of his trip. 5 days in Geneva would be an amazing experience for any 17-18 year old. But this trip was truly amazing - it opened up their eyes to life and what really goes on. My daughter loved every part of the trip, learnt loads, and would love to go and live in Geneva now!
We are so happy with how the trip went and know that it has fundamentally affected the girls, with many now wanting to develop their careers in human rights, poverty reduction and development which is fantastic. I think the expedition definitely opened hearts and minds.
The most important aspect of the trip for me was Global awareness. We are not exposed to a lot of poverty, so it was good to learn about it in another part of the world.
